Faith and Finances: Trusting God with Your Money

Money can be one of the greatest sources of stress—but what if managing your finances started with trust, not fear? As believers, we’re called to be good stewards of what God provides, and that begins with surrendering our finances to Him.

1. God Owns It All
Psalm 24:1 reminds us, “The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it.” When we view our money as God’s, not ours, it shifts how we handle it. We become managers, not owners.

2. Stewardship Over Control
Instead of obsessing over every dollar, focus on wise stewardship—budgeting, giving, saving, and living within your means. These are acts of faith that reflect trust in God’s provision.

3. Giving as Worship
Tithing and generosity aren’t just financial decisions—they’re spiritual ones. Giving is a tangible way to express gratitude and trust, knowing God can do more with 90% than we can with 100%.

4. Pray Over Your Finances
Include your financial decisions in your prayers. Whether it’s paying off debt, providing for your family, or planning for the future, seek God’s guidance. He cares about every area of your life—including your money.

5. Trust His Timing
God’s provision doesn’t always come on our schedule, but it always comes on time. Trusting Him with your finances also means trusting His timing and being content in all seasons.

Faith and finances aren’t separate—they’re deeply connected. When you trust God with your money, you invite peace, purpose, and provision into your financial life.
